Steve Malcolm was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 2006

Steve Malcolm is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Williams and exemplifies his motto to “work hard, have fun, and treat people with respect.” He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and joined Williams in 1984 as director of business development for Williams Natural Gas Company. In 1998, he was named president and chief executive officer of Williams Energy Services and named president and CEO of Williams in 2001. Malcolm sits on the boards of the Tulsa Community Foundation, YMCA, St. John Medical Center, Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the University of Tulsa Board of Trustees, the Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce and Tulsa Educare. He also serves on the YMCA Executive Committee, the University of Tulsa Building and Grounds and Athletics Committee, the board of the Oklahoma Business and Education Coalition and is a former board member of the Gas Processors Association. Malcolm is also a member of the Business Roundtable, National Associate of Corporate Directors, Oklahoma Business Roundtable, the Domestic Petroleum Council, the National Petroleum Council, the 25 Year Club of the Petroleum Industry, and is a former member of the National Energy Services Association.

Malcolm is in great demand as a public speaker with more than 20 years experience presenting on a broad range of energy and energy policy related topics. He has spoken at numerous analyst conferences, industry, and corporate and philanthropic events.
