Safe Reopening Plan:
After extensive planning, the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum is happy to announce a reopening plan that prioritizes the safety of visitors, volunteers, and staff. Along with decreased hours and advanced cleaning protocols, all visitors age 7 and up are required to wear masks. In addition, we ask all visitors to maintain social distancing, follow gallery capacity guidelines, utilize hand sanitation stations, and stay home if you have any symptoms of illness or a temperature over 100.4. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By choosing to visit the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Location:
The museum is located in the historic Travis Mansion at 2445 S. Peoria Ave just south of the Tulsa Garden Center and Woodward Park. Museum entrance and parking lot are on the northeast side of the building.
Inclement Weather Policy:
If Tulsa Public Schools are closed due to weather, the museum will be closed.
Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
Only service animals are permitted inside the museum.
Accessibility:
THSM offers ADA access to the museum and gardens. Free wheelchairs are available at the front admission desk upon request, first served basis. Parking for guests with disabilities is located across from the main museum entrance on the northeast side of the building.
