Description: Lorretta Bertalot interviews Judy Pound and her son, Keith Kelly, about Oklahoma's Polio Epidemic and her life after she contracted polio in 1949 at the age of six. She stayed in isolation at Crippled Children's Hospital in OKC where they used the Kenny method of hot and cold sheets and for a time an Iron Lung to help her since the polio vaccine wasn't developed until 1955. Judy discusses her life as she continues to wear a built-up shoe and brace to help her walk. She also talks of her life working at Rockwell and now her retirement and life as a volunteer.
