Description: Ray was raised in Parsons Kansas. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp and was trained as a teletype operator. He served in the Pacific for 3 years and describes his jobs and the work of the See Bees and the flights of the air planes. His unit shot down Yamamoto--the leader of the planes that bombed Pearl Harbor. Ray tells about coming home at war's end.
