Description: Jackie Darrah reminsces about moving to Tulsa from Pawnee in 1967 to attend Oklahoma School of Business & Accountancy at 9th & Cincinnati. She lived at the YWCA, went to dances at the YMCA, enjoyed movies at the Orpheum Theatre, shopped at Frougs, Vandevers & Brown Dunkin. Occasionally, she and her friends would eat at Shakey's Pizza and Pennington's on Brookside. She got a part time job through Lloyd Richards Employment AGency at Shell Oil Co. In 1968, she became a full time employee there. She always lived where she could walk to work or school.
