Description: Charlie is 92 years old and remembers her youth, marriage, career, and family. Her daughter Rebecca joins in the telling of her story. Charlie saw Rita Haworth trying on clothing in Renbergs. Charlie worked for Skelly Oil, TU, and Oil and Deep Rock. She reflects on discrimination of blacks, bootleg liquor , movies at the Delman, riding the city bus and eating Bama Pie "Dainty Maid" sandwiches. Rebecca and her brother had their picture taken with Santa on the sleigh and featured on the front page of the newspaper in 1956.
