Description: Lorretta Bertalot reads letters sent from early Guardians who volunteer at Tulsa Historical Society and Museum. Their stories tell of the organization, mission, programs developed, collections, and events from 1998-2010. The Travis Mansion had been purchased and a museum staff was hired. Then volunteers were recruited, an organization was established, duties were assigned and children and adult programs were developed.

Subjects: Kickey Morris, Celeste Bendel, Carol Tillman, Beverly Deiterlen, and Karen Smith wrote their memories of the formation of the Guardians.
