Description: Charles A. Bertalot tells about enlisting in the Air Force, basic camp experiences, and his various assignments and retirement. His Dad pinned on his 2nd Lt badge at graduation from basic camp. He was assigned to Colorado Springs Ent Field as supply officer. His "overseas" assignment was Greenland where he served as Honor Guard when the prince of Denmark visited. He rose to the rank of Major in the Air Reserves, then became a Sargent in the Oklahoma Air National Guard to complete time until retirement. He led the fitness training and the Air Guard Marathon Team.
