Music at the Mansion
May 16th – Mosaic Trio – A piano trio without the piano
For those who are even faintly aware of chamber music know the foundational group is the string quartet, with the piano trio (violin, cello and piano) a close second. Well, Music at the Mansion this month has a special and unusual treat for you: a piano trio without the piano, but rather a violin, cello and HARP! Lorelei Barton, principal harpist of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, joined by violinist Maureen O’Boyle, Concertmaster of Tulsa Symphony, and cellist Earl “Pete” Peterson, recently retired strings teacher (the first strings teacher at Union High School, 35 years ago) will delight you.
Music at the Mansion is a partnership event with The Hyechka Club Tulsa. Performances are scheduled at 2:00 PM on the third Thursday of every month (with the exception of July and August). Admission is $5/adults, $3/seniors, and free for THSM members and students.
