The Tulsa Historical Society is the only museum in Tulsa focused on building, preserving, and presenting a broad based general collection of Tulsa’s history.

We are positioned to become increasingly valuable to the Tulsa community as we grow and expand our ability to collect, preserve and present Tulsa’s history.

Exhibits

The Tulsa Historical Society has eight exhibit galleries featuring topics related to local history. Each of these exhibit spaces rotates at least once a year so there is always something new to see. Be sure to return often to learn more about Tulsa’s unique history. Current exhibits:

For rental information contact Janet Gaither at 746-5133 or events@tulsagardencenter.com The 60 x 120 foot tent below was provided by A&J Tents for “The Perfect Wedding Party” event and is available for rental for your private event.

Travis Mansion

Learn more about our historic Samuel Travis Mansion, constructed in 1919 during Tulsa’s “Golden Age” as the Oil Capital of the World.

The Gift Kiosk at the Tulsa Historical Society offers a wonderful selection of everything Oklahoma. Perryman Cemetery

The Perryman Cemetery, located at 32nd and Utica, is Tulsa’s oldest private cemetery. The cemetery has approximately fifty people buried and has a small number of unmarked graves.
