Timeline of Tulsa History: A Brief Journey Through Tulsa’s Past

This exhibit provides  a general historical overview of Tulsa’s past by guiding visitors through the significant events and time periods in Tulsa’s rich history.

The timeline begins with the arrival of the Creek Indians who settled Tulsa in the 1830s.  From there the exhibit covers many historically significant events and time periods that have affected the city’s development and helped shape the Tulsa of today.
