Marylouise Tandy Cowan
Arts patron and newspaper publisher Marylouise Tandy Cowan is a Tulsa native who maintains strong local ties while making her home in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Activities here included work at institutions ranging from the Philbrook Museum of Art to Tulsa Town Hall. She serves on the Americans for the Arts Policy Board and is Publisher of the Boothbay Register and Wiscasset Newspaper in Maine.

Charles & Lynn Schusterman
Charles and Lynn Schusterman personify commitment to sharing good fortune in the face of personal obstacles. Charles founded Samson Investment Company in 1971. About a dozen years later, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Lynn Schusterman demonstrated great courage and enduring faith as his primary caregiver. Both continue their dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Tulsa and throughout the world through their family foundation.

Charles C. Stephenson, Jr.
Charles C. Stephenson, Jr. graduated from the University of Oklahoma and began his long career in petroleum engineering at several companies, including Amerada Petroleum and Santa Fe-Andover Oil. He co-founded Vintage Petroleum, an independent energy company headquartered in Tulsa, in 1983 and served as President until mid-1990. He remains Chairman of the Board.

Ross Swimmer
Ross Swimmer served ten years as Chief of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma before leading the Bureau of Indian Affairs as Assistant Secretary of the Interior. He has also had a long legal career and currently heads the Cherokee Group, which supports the development of business on Indian land and the Swimmer Collection of American Indian artwork.

Charles P. Williams
Charles P. Williams grew up in Cuba, where his father was in the heavy construction business. He graduated from Yale University in 1937 and went to work for Williams Brothers Company in Tulsa. Following service in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in World War II, he returned to Williams Brothers in 1946. He became chairman in 1966, the year the name was changed to the Williams Companies. He remained Chairman until 1971, and retired in 1974.
