Each month at the Big Adventure Children’s Exhibit we select one particular element in the exhibit to base lots of fun crafts and activities around. In January we are exploring the caves (Tunnels of Fun) and will have a special Bear Hunt through the Tulsa Historical Society exhibits available each Saturday and select weekdays.  To participate, families pick up a booklet and find teddy bears hidden throughout the building. Each bear has a question to ask or an activity for you to do while you look at its favorite exhibit.

The Big Adventure Children’s Exhibit is a partnership between the Tulsa Children’s Museum and Tulsa Historical Society. Watch for information on other fun activities coming soon.

Wee Wednesdays – a time set aside for our youngest visitors: each Wednesday from 10:00-12:00

For the second time, THS is collaborating with the Tulsa Children’s Museum to bring you a fun, educational and interactive children’s exhibit. This newest exhibit, “The Big Adventure” is a wonderfully wacky challenge game of fun-filled, action-packed adventure. Visitors will have opportunities to choose adventures that appeal to them, identify challenges, solve problems, make decisions, set goals, enhance creativity and gain confidence. Don’t let your kids miss their chance to test their skills, push their limits and challenge themselves in The Big Adventure.

The exhibit will be at THS through May 2011. There will be many special activities planned for families throughout its stay so be sure to visit often to play and learn.
